This was at Billie and Ryan's house, after their wedding in the city. Billie's mom Carole held Julia for a while, and she konked right out.

Sunday adventure

We decided to take the Baby Bjorn for a spin Sunday afternoon. Julia was very interested in watching the world go by. We walked out to the pier, around the block,, then stepped inside to buy a few things. Amazingly, Julia konked out as soon as we walked in the door. She slept right up until we were ready to check out. Mom took her outside and she was fine for the walk home.

I'm so good, I never cry or anything! (it helps that mom keeps everything warm and quiet.)

My 2-Month Check-up

I'm two months old now, which means I had to go back to the doctor for a check-up.

The good news is that I'm getting bigger -- I'm 24 inches long and weigh 12.1 pounds! Dad says I have "thunder thighs" now too, whatever that means.

The bad news is that I needed to get four new shots. Four! And they hurt too! Mom says I turned into Miss Tomato-Face for a while, but I fell asleep as soon as we left the doctor's office. My legs are kind of sore where I got the shots, but I'll be better soon.

I also got to hang out with Uncle Ryan today! He took care of me for a while so Mommy could go to the gym and then get some rest. We had fun. He even cut my little fingernails! I hope he comes over again soon.

Well, dad looks tired now. I guess I'll go to sleep so he can too.
